Description

Responsibilities
- Be responsible for personal safety and for the safety of others.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards.
- Set-up, indicate, and machine raw material (bar stock, forgings, and castings) to manufacture Fisher parts to OEM print dimensions.
- Cross-train on all machines to prevent lapse in production flow including but not limited to engine lathes, manual drills, horizontal bandsaws, CNC lathes, VTLs, HBMs, and CNC mills.
- Must understand material hardness, cutting tools, speeds and feeds, coolant requirements and machining techniques.
- Interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerances (GD&T) per part drawings.
- Potential for field assignments using in-line machine.
- Adhere to all safety, quality, and environmental rules and regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of machining experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer relations skills are a must.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Qualifications
- Preferred qualifications include a mechanical related Associates degree or 3+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing setting.
- Minimum 2 years of machining experience, including setup, and operation of machines.
- Welding knowledge preferred.
- Experience in the process control industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of analyzing, evaluating, diagnosing, and resolving equipment and process related problems is strongly preferred.
Pay & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $30.29 – $43.18 per hour, commensurate with experience (Overtime opportunity available).
