What You’ll Do:
- Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety
- Ensure compliance with applicable HSE performance standards, objectives and regulations
- Ensure compliance with applicable Company HSE Performance Standards, as well as applicable acts and regulations
- Capable of working with petroleum based lubricants, various chemical solvents and chemicals with proper PPE
- Capable of understanding and using all safety equipment, including arc flash, machinery and tools’ guards and PPE
- Proficient in the use of machine shop measurement tools and devices, including but not limited to tape measures, rulers, callipers, micrometres, dial indicators, protractors, squares, and bore gauges
- Preform preventative and predictive maintenance activities on plant production equipment and systems as needed or required
- Proficient in the use of shop arithmetic and mathematics for measurement and layout work
- Capable of the safe and proper use of hand tools and portable powered tools
- Capable of working from heights using ladders, platforms, or man-lifts with proper PPE and Fall-Protection
What We’re Looking For:
- A high school diploma or GED
- Preferred trade school or applicable military training
- Journeyman competency status desired
- Millwright certification with 5 years’ experience desired
- Production environment knowledge
- Willingness to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives
