Machining Operator II

What will you be doing?

• Operating machining equipment including, but not limited to, lathes, vertical mills, and saws.
• - Perform simple measurements using micrometers, angle finders and calipers
• - Read and understand blueprints
• Complete and understand documentation needed to comply with S.N.E. policies, Quality Manual and procedures including, but not limited to:
• FDA, QSR and various domestic and international standards and regulations
• Company policies and procedures
• Work in a Team environment using the skills of communicating, listening and participating in developing continuous improvement on products and processes
• Safety, cleanliness and maintenance of equipment and company property, including but not limited to:
• Simple maintenance as required
• Clean work area as needed

What will you need to be successful?

• Education: High School education or equivalent - Vocational or Technical degree or equivalent military experience
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant hands on experience operating lathes, vertical mills, and saws.
• Knowledge: Ability to use calipers and micrometers
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English, and have basic math skills.
