Responsibilities
This position is responsible for overall assembly process, including building, assembling, testing, injection molding and packaging a variety of meters or meter reading technology products. The work is completed through manual assembly, utilization of various specialty pieces of equipment, or automated machinery.
- Meter Assembly: Perform a variety of operations such as assembly of meters, leak testing, meter testing, and packaging of meter products while following safety guidelines.
- Molding: Perform a variety of tasks such as operation of plastic injection molding machines and perform secondary operations to molded parts such as degating, sprue removal and drilling.
- Registration Assembly: Perform highly varied register assembly, sub-assembly and test operations on electro/mechanical units.
- Machining: May operate and tend to multiple machines simultaneously, following work instructions ensuring the highest quality products.
Requirements
High School Degree/GED preferred, 0-1 years of related experience preferred.
- Ability to pass internal forklift and hazmat training required
- Basic proficiency with computers required
- Basic skills in math required
- Basic ability to read, write, and speak English preferred

Working Conditions
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to wear personal protective gear most of the day, lift up to 60 pounds, and stand or walk for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to pass an audiogram test.
