Machining Operator (2nd & 3rd Shift) (63906)

About the role

Operates the machines and equipment related to the machining process with emphasis on safety, quality and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads parts from the machining line.
• Inspects machined parts.
• Conducts preventive maintenance as scheduled.
• Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
• May operate forklift to move production parts (marginal function).
• Audits special parts as designated from die casting (marginal function).

Working conditions

• Continuous standing.
• Lifting of components weighing up to 35 lbs.
• May be required to work from an elevated platform (up to 20" high).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift parts weighing 35 lbs continuously.
• Ability to meet required scores on assessments.
