Machining Apprenticeship Program
About the role
Seyer Industries is offering an exceptional opportunity for individuals interested in gaining skills in precision machining. The program includes earning a debt-free associate degree in Precision Machining through Southwestern Illinois College (SWIC) or St. Charles Community College (SCC).
Responsibilities
- Part-time work in a dedicated training facility to develop skills as a machinist.
- Attend 2 days per week at school to complete the associate degree program.
- Graduates will be eligible for a Journeyman certificate from the Department of Labor.
- Receive international credentials upon completion of the program.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interest in precision machining and related fields.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including 3 eight-hour shifts per week.
- Pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

- Proficiency in basic math and reading skills.

$21.00 per hour.
Schedule
