About the role

Seyer Industries is offering an exceptional opportunity for individuals interested in gaining skills in precision machining. The program includes earning a debt-free associate degree in Precision Machining through Southwestern Illinois College (SWIC) or St. Charles Community College (SCC).

Responsibilities

  • Part-time work in a dedicated training facility to develop skills as a machinist.
  • Attend 2 days per week at school to complete the associate degree program.
  • Graduates will be eligible for a Journeyman certificate from the Department of Labor.
  • Receive international credentials upon completion of the program.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong interest in precision machining and related fields.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including 3 eight-hour shifts per week.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in basic math and reading skills.
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

$21.00 per hour.
