Machine Technician

About the role

The Machine Technician is responsible for producing high-quality products through accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of all manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate thrives in environments where safety, quality, service, and cost are the highest priorities. The Machine Technician will perform various, rotating duties relating to all manufacturing operations, supporting managers and all plant staff to meet operational goals and perform duties as assigned.

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or safety-sensitive role

Qualifications

• Required: General Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Responds to requests professionally and promptly; demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrates strong planning, prioritization, organizational, and reporting skills; exhibits independent problem-solving skills.
• Required: Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Demonstrates intermediate proficiency in Google Suite; demonstrates familiarity with standard manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures; demonstrates mathematical skills including ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; demonstrates rate, ratio, and percent computation skills; reads and interprets measurements.
• Preferred: Experience in a fast-paced, continuous process environment

Pay

Base Hourly Rate: $31.10

Schedule

4 weeks on days 6:45AM to 6:45PM; 4 weeks on nights 6:45PM to 6:45AM
