Machine Repair Project Manager

Description Location: Grand Blanc, MI Our client is seeking a Machine Repair Project Manager to oversee industrial machine repair and stamping press repair projects throughout the region. This role is ideal for an experienced maintenance professional, machine repair technician, millwright, lead foreman, maintenance supervisor, or project manager looking to grow into a leadership position with a well-established industrial contractor. The successful candidate will manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinate field personnel, support customers, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. While prior project management experience is beneficial, our client is willing to train the right individual on estimating and project bidding responsibilities. Responsibilities Manage machine repair and industrial maintenance projects from planning through completion Lead and coordinate project teams ranging from 10-30 employees Schedule labor, equipment, and materials to support project execution Work closely with operations, estimating, customers, and field personnel Conduct occasional site visits to monitor project progress and support field teams Assist in developing project estimates and customer proposals Maintain project budgets, schedules, and customer communication Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards Must Have 7+ years Stamping press repair experienceExperience working in manufacturing, stamping, automotive, or industrial environmentsMachine repair and industrial maintenance experienceAbility to lead and manage field teams ranging from 10-30 employeesStrong communication and teamwork skillsValid driver's license with acceptable driving record (MVR required) Skills machine repair, stamping press, Machine set up, stamp press, industrial machinery, industrial maintenance, industrial equipment Top Skills Details machine repair,stamping press,Machine set up,stamp press Additional Skills & Qualifications Nice to have Prior Project Manager or Maintenance Manager experienceEstimating or bidding experienceMillwright with machine repair expertiseLead Foreman, Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Technician experienceExperience maintaining equipment within automotive stamping facilitiesFamiliarity with Ford, GM, Stellantis, Dana, Nexteer, or other Tier 1 manufacturing environments Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Grand Blanc, MI. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $130000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
