Machine Repair and Restoration Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist lead technicians, Production Manager, and Project Manager on all aspects of machine rebuilding projects
• Disassemble and reassemble machinery and equipment
• Basic troubleshooting of machinery and equipment
• Basic install and removal of machinery and equipment components and systems
• Basic welding, cutting, burning, lift truck and manlift operation and assistance
• Restore machinery and equipment as required and as directed
• Work locally at our Cleveland, OH facility as well as travel for multi-week out-of-town projects

Qualifications

• General knowledge, aptitude or experience with machine repair and/or restoration
• Frequent lifting in excess of 50 lbs
• Access and mobility in tight spaces
• High school diploma (GED) or graduation from a certified technical school

Skills

• English language literacy and fluency
• Knowledge of and ability to use mechanic's/machine repairman's tools
• Ability to cooperate and communicate effectively in a team environment
• Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
