Machine Operators - Cell Technicians (Anca) - Multiple Shifts
About the role
The Cell Technician (Anca) plays a crucial role in producing carbide cutting tools according to specifications and quality standards. They are responsible for setting up machines, making in-process adjustments, and ensuring tools meet necessary specifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-process checks using appropriate inspection procedures and measuring equipment.
- Set up machines and make in-process adjustments to ensure tools are produced according to specification.
- Track and log job production data.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
- Monitor supplies and notify Cell Lead or Supervisor when supplies are running low.
- Contribute to a team culture of mutual respect and teamwork.
- Meet both personal and team goals.
Requirements
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- General math skills necessary for the position.
- Ability to do hands-on work.
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work in a diverse environment.
- Ability to adhere to a schedule on a regular basis.
- Basic computer skills.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Reliable transportation required.

Pay & Schedules
- 3rd Shift, Monday thru Thursday, 8:15 PM - 6:45 AM, with a shift differential of $1.25.
- 5th Shift, Friday thru Sunday, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, with a shift differential of $3.50.
Working Conditions
Cell Technicians will work in a production area with moderate noise levels and climate control. They may come into contact with natural oils, synthetic oils, and various grinding dusts. Proper handling of cutting tools is essential to prevent injury. Proper instruction, training, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided for the specific job or duty.
