Machine Operators

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production machines in a paper converting line.
• (Rewinders, unwinders, wrappers, palletizers, case packers, etc.)
• Able to adhere to Safety Policy and Procedures a must!
• Complete work orders and requests in a timely fashion.
• Load raw materials (Parent Reels, Poly Rolls, Core Materials) by using overhead crane, pallet jack, etc.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned areas.
• Monitor line for defective materials and perform quality checks.
• May operate automated packaging equipment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of machine operation experience required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Attention to detail.
• Able to work independently or with a team!

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work 12 hour shifts standing, bending, stooping and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Excellent attendance record (the schedule is the 2-2-3 schedule).
• Ability to work a Rotational work schedule (Days and Nights) including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to complete background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing requirements.
