Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain production machines in a paper converting line.
- (Rewinders, unwinders, wrappers, palletizers, case packers, etc.)
- Able to adhere to Safety Policy and Procedures a must!
- Complete work orders and requests in a timely fashion.
- Load raw materials (Parent Reels, Poly Rolls, Core Materials) by using overhead crane, pallet jack, etc.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned areas.
- Monitor line for defective materials and perform quality checks.
- May operate automated packaging equipment.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of machine operation experience required.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Attention to detail.
- Able to work independently or with a team!
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to work 12 hour shifts standing, bending, stooping and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Excellent attendance record (the schedule is the 2-2-3 schedule).
- Ability to work a Rotational work schedule (Days and Nights) including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to complete background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing requirements.
