The Machine Operator – Tapping position is based in Montpelier, IN.

Responsibilities

• Start machine and observe operation, making adjustments as needed.
• Gauge and check parts for each catch pan for conformance to specifications.
• Record and plot on SPC charts.
• Record production on daily sheet.
• Operate PIV and electric pallet jack to move tubs and load machines.
• Must be able to work overtime.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Mathematical ability and practical application of percentages and ratios.
• Ability to read and write; effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand written, verbal, or diagrammatical instructions.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, push, pull, and reach.
• Ability to lift and/or carry 5‑25 pounds regularly and occasionally 25‑65 pounds with assistance.
