Machine Operator - Shipping

Schedule

7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., overtime as needed including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain palletizer, wrapper, conveyors, and related equipment.
• Ensure packaging materials are kept clean and safe.
• Maintain quality product by verifying proper counts, product, and appearance of packages before, during, and after packaging.
• Ensure proper labels are used on bags during the production process.
• Document labels and product verification lot code information onto product.
• Perform record keeping related to cleaning and preventative maintenance.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.

Requirements

• Possess basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
• Able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
• Willing to climb up to 30 feet.
• Willing to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Willing to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist, and turn throughout the day.
• Willing to work in hot and cold temperatures for extended periods.
• Possess basic maintenance skills.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Willing and able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Willing and able to follow all safety and food safety rules.
