Machine Operator - Second Shift

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain designated heavy machinery and equipment, including roll forming, press operation, milling, manufacturing fabrication, welding, cutting, routing, molding, extrusion, and related processes.
• Manufacture sectional and rolling doors and door components as an entry-level production manufacturer.
• Produce components according to product specifications, drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), work orders, and run schedules.
• Ensure product specification and quality by following established procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintaining proper machine settings, and adhering to quality standards.
• Verify product specifications and quality through inspection, observation, and measurement of work pieces.
• Adjust machine and equipment performance to meet product specifications and quality standards.
• Use hand and power tools, cranes, and other material handling devices to assist in manufacturing processes.
• Fabricate and assemble sectional and rolling door sections and component materials as required by the job.

Qualifications

• Industrial manufacturing experience is desired.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions in English.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

Physical / Work Environment Requirements

• Frequent bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and lifting up to 75 pounds periodically.
• Regular lifting up to 35 pounds.
