About the role
Join our fast-paced production team located in the Tulsa Port of Catoosa as a full-time Machine Operator. This role starts at $20 per hour with weekly pay and gives you the chance to make an immediate impact on our operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate machines within standard production targets and waste limits.
- Set up machines for scheduled orders and run equipment safely and efficiently to hit production, quality, and waste goals.
- Perform troubleshooting of equipment and make adjustments to keep lines running at peak performance.
- Ensure product quality by identifying film issues.
- Track and record production, waste, and material usage.
- Assist maintenance with machine repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain day-to-day machine operations consistent with Quality System Support policies and Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards, including cleaning schedules, checklists, and audits.
- Support a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting injuries, accidents, and hazards.
Working Conditions
- Operates in a manufacturing environment with regular requirements to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Minimal exposure to hazards such as dust, high noise levels, solvent fumes, and medium heat.
- Ability to stand for long periods, with frequent walking, bending, stooping, and twisting.
- Flexibility to work 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education and experience.
- Previous experience in production or manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to read a measuring tape.
- Ability to read, write, and understand simple and concise instructions or information.
- Intermediate use of required gaging instruments.
- Regular, predictable, and reliable attendance.
Pay
$20 per hour with weekly pay.
