About the role
We’re seeking a Night Shift Machine Operator to join our dynamic team at McIlhenny Company, makers of TABASCO® Brand products. This role offers a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with opportunities for growth and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of sophisticated food packaging machines, including Depalletizers, Filler, Cappers, Labelers, Tamper seal, Cartoners, Tray Packer, Case Packer, Palletizers and more.
- Operate machines and change coding based on customer requirements.
- Prepare machinery, load materials, and ensure seamless production flow.
- Monitor machine performance, adjust, and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Record quality control data to maintain high production standards.
- Keep workspace clean, organized, and running efficiently.
Requirements
- Physically able to perform essential job functions including lifting 20-40 lbs throughout your shift and standing for long periods of time.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Basic problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to pass a drug test, background check and physical.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working on a production line or in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Experience working in food industry or in consumer-packaged goods.
- Experience working night shift.
Skills
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to pass a drug test, background check and physical.
