Machine Operator - Laser (3rd shift)
About the role
This position is responsible for the set up and operation of laser machines. As well as enquired to support production processes such as general material handling tasks.
Responsibilities
- Sets up machine to proper specifications
- Operates machine to cut materials specified by work order
- Checks quality of product coming off machine
- Packages material and prepares for shipment
- General material handling/warehouse tasks
Requirements
- Knowledge of crane operation and lifting devices
- Skilled at measuring machined features using a variety of measuring instruments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1+ year of machine operation experience
Qualifications
- Setting: Warehouse
- Lift: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. 15% of shift
- Stand: Must be able to stand up to 100% of shift
- Walk: Must be able to walk 50% of shift
- Climbing: Must be able to climb stairs/ladders up to 10% of shift
- Stooping/Bending: Must be able to stoop/bend up to 30% of shift
