Machine Operator IV - Slitting Week Days
About the role
Apart from performing as an operator on the facilities' slitter machine, this role involves achieving maximum productivity and quality in the slitting area, making necessary adjustments to the slitter machine, monitoring slitter operations, checking quality, detecting defects, operating a computer, completing daily paperwork, and maintaining production records. Other duties may include assisting with various tasks in support of production operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform as an operator on the facilities' slitter machine.
- Achieve maximum productivity and quality in the slitting area.
- Make necessary adjustments to the slitter machine.
- Maintain quality control by monitoring slitter operations, checking quality, and detecting defects.
- Operate a computer, complete daily paperwork, and maintain production records.
- Perform other duties consistent with the general nature and focus of the position and/or the goals and objectives of the department.
Requirements
- Typically requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and relevant experience.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn an ERP system.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Equivalent work experience may substitute for education. Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn an ERP system.

Pay
The posted salary range for this position is $17.55-$29.25 an hour. The actual compensation may vary depending on location, experience, and other job-related factors. We take regional market differences into consideration to ensure fair and competitive pay in each area.
