Machine Operator IV (Friday, Saturday, Sunday 5:55AM - 6:00PM)

About the role

We are currently hiring Machine Operators for our Columbus, NE plant. This role involves performing various tasks in support of production operations, applying acquired job skills and company policies to complete assigned tasks. You will work on problems of moderate scope, exercising judgement within defined procedures to determine appropriate action and build productive internal/external working relationships. You must learn and follow standardized work, and promote a safe and quality-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform various tasks in support of production operations.
• Apply acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
• Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
• Exercise judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn ERP system.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions, basic math skills, and read a ruler and tape measure to measure fractions of an inch.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Commitment to a high standard of safety and willingness to comply with all environmental and safety regulations, including company policies and procedures.
• Willingness to report potential environmental and safety improvements to appropriate supervisory or management personnel.

Pay

Based on region, the expected salary range for this position is $15.84–$26.40 an hour. The posted range reflects a national pay scale and actual compensation may vary depending on location, experience, and other job-related factors.

Schedule

• Friday – Sunday, 5:55 AM – 6:00 PM.
• Includes 15% shift differential.
