We are currently looking for a hard working production employee to join our Littleton, CO facility. Responsibilities

• Accurate operations, loading, and unloading of materials and error adjustments based on instructions, checklists, product specifications, and customer job ticket requirements.
• Continually checks, monitors and corrects any quality issues that may occur during each customer job run to minimize downtime and waste.
• Interprets and completes all Smart Card forms and documents that pertain to the Smart Card department with high accuracy.
• Maintains an accurate record of all completed work in shop floor data system and/or manual forms as required.
• Completes required audit paperwork based on job stage and equipment operated.

Requirements

• Previous machine operating experience; one year plus
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Basic skills required to operate technical machinery
• Basic computer skills
• The ability to use a caliper and other hand tools
• The ability to interface with a PC by inputting and outputting data and loading and unloading programs
• Keyboard input skills are necessary
• The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions (written and verbal)
• The ability to write simple reports
• The ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization
• The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• The ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Qualifications

• Keen attention to detail including distinguishing color
• Elementary English proficiency communication skills necessary
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
• Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods

Physical Requirements

• Standing position and requires walking, bending, stooping, twisting and lifting of materials up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis
• Noisy environment may require ear protection
• Full use of hands/fingers in order to use precision or semi-precision equipment, tools or instruments requiring deft hand movements

• Works with rapidly moving machinery that may require quick adjustments to minimize waste and time
• Conducted in shifts and may require overtime on other shifts to meet deadlines
