Machine Operator III - 3rd shift
Key Success Factors
- Technical Fabrication & Equipment Mastery - Skillfully operate saws, presses, drills and other fabrication equipment to transform raw materials and sub-assemblies while following technical drawings and maintaining established cycle times to consistently produce high-quality fabricated components across light gauge to heavy gauge materials.
- Safety Leadership & Production Excellence - Champion fabrication department safety by completing assigned safety projects and maintaining high safety standards for the team while consistently achieving hourly and daily productivity and quality targets through effective process execution and attention to detail.
- Continuous Improvement & Team Collaboration - Apply mechanical aptitude and lean manufacturing principles to identify process improvements and kaizen opportunities while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and collaborative teamwork to drive business results and support customer success in demanding fabrication environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Transforms various materials and sub-assemblies using saws, presses, drills and other equipment in accordance with technical drawings, within established cycle times, and at a high level of quality
- Responsible for safety in the fabrication department. Completes safety projects as assigned and holds a high safety standard for the team
- Ensures targets for Productivity and Quality are met on an hourly and daily basis
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Being physically present and available at our Monroe location
- Industrial manufacturing environment
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted, >40 lbs with assistance
