Machine Operator 3 - 3rd shift

Mechanical Details

• Operate powdercoat (blades) and liquid (holesaw) paint equipment.
• Set up, operate, and shut down paint line.
• Load/unload paint line with product.
• Recognize and react to problems with equipment, make adjustments as required.
• Inspect and verify product according to quality standards.
• Use paint thickness gauge to verify paint thickness.
• Hone turnover belt (powder application).
• Perform daily Preventative Maintenance (PM) on paint line equipment.
• Inspect, clean, and change out tips on paint guns.
• Perform frequent walk-throughs to ensure equipment is operating properly.
• Change out and add paint as required.
• Check and clean re-claim hoppers.
• Maintain production pace and standards.
• Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area.
• P practice 5Ss.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of machine operation experience preferred.
