Maintain accurate production, scrap, and downtime records.
Production
- Set up and operate sheet metal fabrication equipment according to work orders, blueprints, and job travelers
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and measurement specifications
- Load raw materials and unload finished parts, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
- Adjust machine settings, tooling, and programs to meet dimensional and quality requirements
- Perform in-process inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on assigned machines
- Identify defects, scrap causes, and process improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and quality teams to resolve production issues
Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience required in Construction and/or Manufacturing
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tape measures
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English
- Ability to stand/walk on concrete for a full shift and work in temperatures above 95°F
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and lift 50 lbs. alone; lift more than 50 lbs. with assistance
- Ability to handle tools safely and inspect finished products
- Must be able to wear PPE
