What You’ll Do
- Understand and proficiently operate assigned machines/presses.
- Troubleshoot various machinery problems.
- Identify and tag tubs according to shop orders.
- Quality control and document all parts run on machines.
- Retrieve and enter data into SAP.
- Inventory components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely production.
- Maintain a clean work area and tend to other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.

- No relocation benefit is offered for this position.
- Only candidates residing within 50 miles of the Reno, NV facility will be considered for this position.
- Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Minimum of six (6) months of experience with forming or bending machines. Minimum of six (6) months of experience reading drawings or blueprints. Experience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools.
- Position Success Criteria: Ability to operate machinery and presses safely. Ability to read, accurately interpret, and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings. Ability to identify different gauges and types of raw material. Ability to accurately read tape measure, scales, and calipers. Ability to work effectively and productively as member of a team with minimal supervision.

- Physical Requirements: Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift with or without reasonable accommodations. Able to lift and bend on a continuous basis with or without reasonable accommodations. Able to regularly lift up to 35 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations. Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.
- Working Conditions: Exposure to cold/heat weather conditions while shipping doors are open. Fast-paced working, while maintaining safety priorities.
