Machine Operator II (1st Shift) Paint Line

About the role

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Machine Operator II (1st Shift) Paint Line.

Responsibilities

• Understand and proficiently operate assigned machines/presses
• Troubleshoot various machinery problems
• Identify and tag tubs according to shop orders
• QC and document all parts run on machines
• Retrieve and enter data into SAP computer system
• Inventory components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely production
• Keep work areas clean and safe
• Perform other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned

Qualifications

• Required (Basic): No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of Reno, NV (50 miles) will be considered for this position.

Position Criteria

• Able to operate machinery and presses safely
• Able to read, accurately interpret and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings
• Able to identify different gauges and types of raw material
• Able to accurately read tape measure, scales, and calipers
• Able to work effectively and productively as member of a team with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift
• Able to lift and bend on a continuous basis
• Able to regularly lift 35 pounds without assistance
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure

Working Conditions

• Exposure to cold/heat weather conditions while shipping doors are open
• Fast paced working, while maintaining safety priorities
