Machine Operator I - PTFE (Second Shift)

Responsibilities

  • Working under close supervision and following detailed verbal and written instructions, performs repetitive bench to produce medical components and associated subassemblies.
  • Performs simple to semi-complex tasks in the preparation for medical device assembly.
  • Places parts in specified relationship to each other per written documentation.
  • Assembles components according to approved standards and procedures.
  • Reads and follows procedures to assemble, start-up, and operate production equipment.
  • Works at different workstations as production needs require.
  • Performs moderately complex first piece inspections using simple test equipment.
  • Accurately records and completes manufacturing documentation, i.e., logbooks.
  • Communicates problems to supervisor, technician, or engineer.
  • Performs stock/kanban transactions and enter lot information into computer/terminal.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma. No Previous Experience Required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Ability to work varying shifts and overtime hours when required. Ability to read, write and understand English. Must have ability to complete training courses. Ability to use and read measuring devices, i.e., rulers, calipers, micrometers, etc. Understands and can apply regulatory (QSR, ISO) requirements in everyday activities.
