Primary Objective
Responsible for the movement of finished goods including operating powered industrial trucks (forklift), tracking materials via cycle counts and inventory audits, and using Warehouse Management Systems to ensure data is tracked accurately.Major Function and Scope
- Complies with all company safety policies and procedures.
- Transports bulk product via powered industrial trucks to specified locations.
- Picks individualized product as needed to complete orders.
- Performs cycle counts to confirm inventory levels.
- Completes audits to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision.
- Follow all established standard operating procedures.
- Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary.
- Perform other tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications
- A High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior forklift or powered industrial truck experience required.
- 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment required, 2+ years preferred.
- 1 year experience with inventory systems and cycle counts preferred.
- Ability to utilize warehouse management systems effectively across varied equipment (desktop, work stations, RF Scanners, etc.) required, prior familiarity with them preferred.
What Else?
- This position requires the team member to work with machinery in an environment where there may be fluctuating temperatures, and additional department-specific variables. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required, and may include hearing protection, safety shoes, high-visibility clothing, and eye protection.
- Other working conditions may include working 12 hour shifts and a fixed shift rotation, including holidays.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.; walking, bending, squatting, climbing ladders and stairs are required.
