Key Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery to produce stainless steel sinks in accordance with production requirements.
- Interpret blueprints, bills of materials (BOMs), work instructions, and specifications to ensure product quality and accuracy.
- Set up, adjust, and operate production equipment, including sanding, grinding, buffing, and related machinery.
- Perform routine inspections of products to identify defects, scratches, dimensional issues, or other quality concerns.
- Use measuring tools and gauges to verify product specifications and quality standards.
- Package finished products according to established procedures and customer requirements.
- Record production information accurately using handheld scanners, computer systems, or other tracking methods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company policies and safety requirements.
- Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and operating instructions.
- Assist with troubleshooting minor equipment issues and report equipment malfunctions to supervision.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in training as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, machine operation, production, or industrial experience preferred.
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and BOMs.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Ability to operate production equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to accurately document production information and follow standard operating procedures.
