Machine Operator I

Pay and Shift

• Pay: $19.00 per hour, plus $3.50 shift differential
• 2nd Shift: Monday through Thursday, 3:30pm to 2:30am

General Duties

• Operate motorized equipment (e.g., forklift, KVAL lifts, etc.) as needed
• Read and follow sizing instructions and perform quality checks with tape measure
• Set up and adjust equipment to sizing specifications; understand drawings; change heads and other tools
• Perform miscellaneous duties including basic repairs, routing, tracking, preventative maintenance, and station keeping
• Support other team members through collaboration and communication
• Work safely, wear PPE, and follow safety procedures
• Receive day-to-day direction from supervisor

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of manufacturing experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Willingness to learn

Physical Requirements

• Kneeling, squatting, stooping, twisting (up to 25% in an 8-hour day)
• Work with products up to 60 lbs throughout the day (up to 25% in an 8-hour day)
• Push/pull up to 100 lbs with assistance (up to 13% in an 8-hour day)
• Comfortable standing in place for extended times
• Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
