About the role
Fabricate high-quality decorated signs using water transfer processing to IPC specifications in the Hydrographic division to ensure customer satisfaction.
Schedule
Monday - Thursday, 12:30pm - 10:30pm
Responsibilities
- Run production schedule.
- Identify films and parts for dipping.
- Full understanding and operation of the Hydrographic dip tank.
- Full understanding and operation of the wash-out tank.
- Full understanding of paint mixing and spraying.
- Full understanding of the water transfer process.
- Full understanding of Macola and inventory control.
- Process work orders as indicated.
- Produce a high-quality product.
- Fabricate orders in date sequence.
- Maintain communications with all manufacturing and office employees.
- Assist in training new employees.
- Perform all other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Basic math skills and the ability to understand measurements.
- Ability to distinguish colors.
- Ability to use power tools and equipment.
- Some computer knowledge.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Authority & Job Relations
- Reports directly to Hydrographic Lead.
- Works with all manufacturing departments.
- Authority to stop production for non-conforming quality or safety compliance.
- Support company policies and procedures.
- Report non-conforming material and safety non-compliance to management.
- Make decisions on accept or reject according to quality specifications.
- Make logical decisions based on experience and/or company policy.
