Machine Operator Final Valve

We are looking to fill a machine operator position in out Final Valve Area. The starting pay for this position is $12. We currently have 1st and 2nd shift positions available Job Title Operator Reports To Production Supervisor Department Final Valve EEO-1 JOB CATEGORY Operatives Salary Band G Last Updated 08/11/2017 Scope: Must be able to operate all Final Valve machines efficiently to ensure a high quality finished product Key Responsibilities Safety and HousekeepingPerform Visual inspectionsBe familiar with each machine and be prepared for alterations in running characteristics before a major breakdown occursGauges for Crimp Heights, Stem Heights, Crimp diameter and Dip tub retention verificationEnsure that parts are feeding into the machines correctly Operate Scanners Loading the hoppers and dip tub reelsLabeling and stacking finished production on skidsChange oversVerify specifications of part being assembled (BOM)Checking and setting the part counter Constantly inspect parts for defects Complete production paperwork Ensure safe work procedures are practicedKeep machines and work areas clean All other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements High school diploma or GED Standing for extended periods of timeMaintaining concentration while working in a noisy environment Ability to lift up to 50 poundsRead and understand written instructions and follow oral instructions Physical Demands While performing the duties for this job the employee is required to stand and walk constantly. Occasionally the employee will need to climb, balance and stoop and carry up to 50 lbs.
