Machine Operator, Cutting (Nights)

About the role
Join our Cutting Department as a Machine Operator, where you’ll work with a talented production team to cut printed materials into precise shapes and sizes using Zund digital die cutting machines.
Schedule
- Shifts available: Sunday through Tuesday or Wednesday through Friday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (36-hour work week)
- Three 12-hour shifts with a rotating schedule every 4 months
- Overtime eligible
Responsibilities
- Operate Zund cutting machines to form printed materials to customer specifications
- Perform Quality Control (QC) procedures to meet Company standards
- Perform maintenance of Zund machinery and equipment
- Conduct preventative maintenance and cleaning of machines at the beginning of each shift
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous work experience in printing, print operations, cutting, or machine operations is a plus but not required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Pay close attention to details on every project
- Basic computer skills, including ePace and Google
- Self-motivated, a fast learner, and show initiative to seek out customer and corporate needs
- Plan, prioritize, coordinate, and manage your own work
- Ability to work independently, make decisions, and solve moderate-level problems effectively and creatively
- Complete projects accurately within deadlines while meeting Company quality standards
- Apply effective time management and self-management skills
- Understand and maintain the confidential nature of company, employee, and customer information
- Effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing
- Strong interpersonal skills, including demonstrated listening skills and the ability to present ideas concisely

Pay
Compensation range: $41,184 – $44,928 annually (base pay range; does not include additional compensation such as shift differentials).
