Machine Operator, Cutting (Night Shift)

Responsibilities

• Operate Zund cutting machines to form printed materials to customer specifications
• Perform Quality Control (QC) procedures to meet Company standards
• Perform maintenance of Zund machinery and equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning of machines at beginning of each shift

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED
• Previous work experience in printing, print operations, cutting, or machine operations (a plus but not required)
• The ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Pay close attention to details on every project
• Basic computer skills, including ePace and Google
• The ability to work independently, make decisions and solve moderate level problems independently, effectively and creatively
• Complete projects accurately within deadlines, while meeting Company quality standards
• Effective communication, both verbally and in writing
• Strong interpersonal skills including, demonstrated listening skills and the ability to present ideas and thoughts concisely and effectively both internally and outside the organization
• Able to admit when you make a mistake (it happens to the best of us)
• Fiercely loyal to both our customers and team
• Trustworthy, reliable, and easy to get along with
• Enthusiastic and eager to take on new challenges
• Adaptable and willing to wear whatever hat gets the job done

Pay

$35,568 - $43,056 annually (This base pay range does not include additional compensation such as shift differentials).

Schedule

Shifts available: Sunday through Tuesday 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (36-hour work week- Three 12-hour shifts with a rotating schedule every 4 months. Overtime Eligible.)
