Machine Operator - Copper Fabrication - 1st Shift

About the role

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Machine Operator - Copper Fabrication - 1st Shift.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate copper bar stock into electrical busway for our electrical switchgear products.
• Measure and handle various sizes/gauges of copper and reference engineering prints or diagrams to complete work to designed measurements.
• Operate machines used to coat busway in epoxy, as well as shear, punch, and bend copper bar stock to required measurements.
• Manipulate material through epoxy coating process.
• Use measuring devices to work within tolerances.
• Aid in the installation as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 1 year of Machine Operator experience required (shear, punch press, or press brake).
• Must be able to read a tape measure to the 1/16”.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $20.50 - $22.00 per hour. The hours are 6am - 3:30pm. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
