Machine Operator - Copper Fabrication - 3rd Shift

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is seeking a Machine Operator focused on copper fabrication.

Pay

$20.50 per hour. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Schedule

3rd shift: 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate copper bar stock into electrical busway for electrical switchgear products
• Measure and handle various sizes/gauges of copper
• Reference engineering prints or diagrams to complete work to designed measurements
• Operate machines used to coat busway in epoxy, shear, punch, and bend copper bar stock
• Use tape measure and other devices to measure bar stock
• Operate shear, punch press, and press brake machines to manipulate copper bar stock
• Manipulate material through epoxy coating process
• Use measuring devices to work within tolerances
• Assist in installation as needed

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• 1 year of Machine Operator experience (shear, punch press, or press brake)
• Must be able to read a tape measure to the 1/16”
• Willing and able to stand for up to 8 hours per day
• Willing and able to lift 35 pounds on a regular basis
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the work location (Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt)

Qualifications

• Previous experience with blueprint reading or schematics
