Machine Operator (Coatings) Friday, Saturday and Sunday (5:55AM - 6:00PM)

Flexcon is a global, family-owned manufacturer of coated and laminated films and adhesives. We supply products for a wide range of industries including packaging, medical devices, automotive, durable labeling, and more.

Responsibilities

• Perform various tasks in support of production operations.
• Apply acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to completed assigned tasks.
• Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
• Exercise judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
• Build productive internal/external working relationships.
• Learn and follow standardized work that has been created within assigned role.
• Promote a safe and quality-driven culture.

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma/GED or equivalent
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn ERP system
• Read and follow written work instructions
• Have basic math skills
• Be able to read a ruler and tape measure to measure fractions of an inch
• Have a high attention to detail
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations
• Be committed to a high standard of safety
• Willing and able to comply with all environment and safety regulations, including the Company’s environmental and safety policies and procedures
• Willing to report potential environmental and safety improvements to appropriate supervisory and/or management personnel
