About the role
Flexcon is a global, family-owned manufacturer of coated and laminated films and adhesives. We supply products for a wide range of industries including packaging, medical devices, automotive, durable labeling, and more.
Responsibilities
- Perform various tasks in support of production operations.
- Apply acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to completed assigned tasks.
- Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
- Exercise judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Build productive internal/external working relationships.
- Learn and follow standardized work that has been created within assigned role.
- Promote a safe and quality-driven culture.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn ERP system
- Read and follow written work instructions
- Have basic math skills
- Be able to read a ruler and tape measure to measure fractions of an inch
- Have a high attention to detail
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations
- Be committed to a high standard of safety
- Willing and able to comply with all environment and safety regulations, including the Company’s environmental and safety policies and procedures
- Willing to report potential environmental and safety improvements to appropriate supervisory and/or management personnel
