Machine Operator (C) - 1st Shift

About the role

Set up and operate CNC Grinder, EDM, or Laser machines to produce parts that conform to specifications and requirements. This position requires considerable attention to detail to ensure the highest level of quality and productivity against established standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Grinder, EDM, or Laser machines to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Monitor parts dimensions using jigs, fixtures, gages, calipers, micrometers, and height gages to assure conformity.
• Complete paperwork required to document the quality of parts produced.
• Check paperwork to determine required assembly and any special options.
• Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies per customer order.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify parts for correct fit and dimensions.
• Build electrodes for Fast Hole EDM.

Requirements

• Two years of experience in a production/shop position.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to use basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and work with fractions, decimals, or percentages.
• Able to follow simple instructions or directions.
• Able to communicate verbally and in writing regarding work requirements, progress, or completion.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

This is a safety-sensitive position. Applicant must comply with all applicable FAA and DOT drug and alcohol testing rules.

Schedule

1st shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
