Machine Operator - First Shift

About the role
Our Machine Operators are responsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies, and equipment. Click here for a Day in the Life video.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed through production shift
- Set up machinery ensuring all production materials are available and ready to be used
- Visually inspect production run and document results; confirm quality of product throughout production
- Determine and report malfunctions to supervisor or manager to address safety hazards and product defects
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned area to uphold safety and performance standards
- Attend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and events
Requirements
- High School Diploma (or GED) required or equivalent degree/certificate
- Forklift Certification within 30 days from hire required
- Must be able to learn and fully operate assigned production equipment
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business
- Ability to lift 50 pounds

Schedule
5:00 AM - 5:00 PM, rotating 2-2-3 schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on; working 7 of 14 days). Overtime and weekends required based on business need.
