Machine Operator

About the role

We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Bristol. This is a hands-on role where you will operate and monitor manufacturing work cells and equipment, following defined procedures and standards to help deliver production plans safely, efficiently and to the required quality.

Shift Pattern: First Shift: 07:00 – 15:30, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing work cells in line with operating procedures, safety standards and quality requirements.
• Support the delivery of production plans by working accurately, consistently and with strong attention to detail.
• Carry out first-line plant housekeeping to help maintain safe, efficient and effective operations.
• Identify abnormal process conditions and take appropriate action to support optimised process performance.
• Record manufacturing data accurately in the relevant systems and to the required standards.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the plant and working area.

About you

We're looking for a motivated and reliable individual who can work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. You will have:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A proactive approach to safety and continuous improvement
• Experience within a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Experience applying best-practice safety standards and continuous improvement methods
• A practical, reliable and safety-focused approach to work.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to follow processes and record information accurately
