Responsibilities

• Set up equipment for production following the schedule to fulfill customer orders.
• Operate large equipment such as shredders and grinders for the majority of your shift.
• Manually load and unload product into and out of equipment.
• Monitor, adjust, and remain attentively aware of the equipment being operated while regularly on your feet.
• Use forklifts to transfer material within the production floor (note: this is not a forklift position).
• Execute all safety protocols, as safety is critical to everyone's success.

Requirements

• Self-starter mindset with a willingness to learn.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and good attendance.
• Able to work a 12-hour shift (7 pm to 7 am OR 7 am to 7 pm) on a rotating schedule every 2 weeks: 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next (includes every other weekend).
• Meet physical qualifications:
  • Lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand for extended periods.
  • Lift, throw, bend, squat, twist, and reach.
  • Work in both hot and cold conditions.
• Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Basic computer knowledge is a plus.
• Previous manufacturing experience is a plus but not necessary.
• Mechanically inclined with an attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist others when needed.

Pay

Starting rate of up to $20.50 an hour (includes overtime and shift differential). Performance reviews every 6 months.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts (7 pm to 7 am OR 7 am to 7 pm).
• Rotating schedule every 2 weeks: 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next (includes every other weekend).
• 7 days off in a 2-week period for better work-life balance.
