Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of production equipment (training will be provided)
• Clear jams and perform basic troubleshooting
• Perform basic changeover tasks
• Clean, inspect, and lubricate equipment
• Clean and maintain a clean work area
• Absorb and assist with movement of product or material throughout the plant

Requirements

• Previous experience in a plant environment preferred
• Ability to operate and work around industrial equipment
• Ability to walk up and down stairways to platforms
• Ability to work up to 12-hour shifts
• Ability to recognize potential safety dangers around plant equipment and walkways
• Ability to lift and move up to a 40-pound load
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (majority of work will be conducted from a standing position)
• Ability to walk the distance from parking lot to designated job area (may be 1 mile+), in addition to walking throughout a large manufacturing plant during course of day for required meetings and other required duties
