Machine Operator

About the Role

This individual will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating machines in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines
• Generate and alter programs as needed for machines
• Maintain proper maintenance and inspections of machines
• Check tolerances of all parts being run on the machines
• Review and print completed work orders
• Move parts to various departments of the manufacturing plant

Requirements

• Knowledge of reading blueprints and calibrating tools
• Ability to stand, bend, push, and pull for extended periods
• Self-motivated, organized, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Must follow all company and safety rules and policies, including the use of personal protective equipment
• Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. (Sukup Manufacturing Co. is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time)

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
