Machine Operator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures the settings of the machine are correct based on the type of product.
• Lifts up to 55 lbs.
• Inspects the meat after processing to ensure the quality of the meat is being met per customer specifications.
• Checks temperature of the meat before use.
• Communicates with Drivers, Supervisor or designated person to ensure that a constant flow of supplies is there at all times.
• Demonstrates the ability to work as a team and follow direction.
• Adheres to all quality and safety guidelines.
• Performs other duties, as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a cold environment.
• Must be able to handle frozen or fresh meat with hands throughout the day.

Physical Demands

• Regularly stands for long periods of time.
• Regularly walks.
• Uses hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• Regularly reaches with hands and arms.
• Regularly lifts and/or moves meat weighing up to 5 pounds.

The hourly pay may be up to $18.76 per hour.

All new hourly/staffing production team members are eligible for a $500 Sign-On Bonus!

Bonus is paid at $125 weekly for your first 4 weeks of working full-time at Stampede.
