Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery to ensure it functions efficiently and produces high-quality products.
• Assist in the setup of machines for different production tasks, including adjusting settings and calibrating equipment.
• Ensure the workplace is clean, safe, and organized at all times, adhering to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines, including trouble-shooting minor issues and ensuring machinery is in optimal working condition.
• Work closely with maintenance technicians to identify and resolve any mechanical or electrical issues with the machinery.
• Maintain accurate production records, including downtime, maintenance activities, and material usage.
• Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and improve manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical training or certification in machine operation or a related field.
• Experience operating machinery in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with metal fabrication and welding is a plus.
• Basic mechanical skills with the ability to perform minor repairs and adjustments on machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in an industrial setting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Technical Expertise: Proficient in operating and maintaining machinery, with a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
