Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate plastic molding machines according to established procedures.
• Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect finished products for quality and make adjustments as necessary.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production.
• Maintain inventory of raw materials and notify supervisor when supplies need replenishing.
• Follow established safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Responsible for food safety, food quality, and site safety.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating plastic molding machines preferred.
• Strong understanding of plastic manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Mechanical training/aptitude and technical training on packaging, plastics, and printing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
