Machine Operator
About the role
The candidate for this position is required to perform daily woodshop area functions. He/she must possess the ability to record receiving data using computer. Schedule, create, and close all the wood department's jobs. He/she should assist and work with other company departments to ensure product is produced to company standard and follows distribution channels in a correct and timely manner. Additional responsibilities will be assigned as required.
Qualifications and requirements
- Ability and experience in using following equipment: CNC Point to Point
- Ability and experience in using the following equipment: Edge Banding Machine
- Maintain inventory control for the wood department
- Verify, count, and organize inventory, providing accurate inventory counts and locations
- Fulfill department quotas on a daily basis
- Multitask, structure, and oversee all aspects of the department to ensure the quotas are met
- Maintain company equipment in working order and promote a safe, clean, and organized working environment
- Follow company's quality controls procedures
- Ensure to follow all company standards, procedures, and direct instructions
