Responsibilities

  • Verify quality dimensions, load/unload production lines, use measurement tools, perform 100% manual inspection of parts, change/adjust production tooling, and complete production documentation using JD Edwards.
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance, remove and dispose of chips/shavings, and replenish fluids/lubricants.
  • Maintain 5S cleaning responsibilities and operate multiple machines simultaneously.
  • Ensure compliance with safety rules, quality guidelines, and production efficiency standards.
  • 70% – Perform load/unload, machine operation, troubleshooting, and insert changes.
  • 15% – Conduct quality measurement checks, including visual inspection of parts.
  • 10% – Complete required documentation.
  • 5% – Other duties as assigned.
  • Abide by and perform all duties in accordance with environmental, health, and safety regulations pertinent to this position.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimal computer skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to read and follow written work instructions.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met.
