Responsibilities
- Verify quality dimensions, load/unload production lines, use measurement tools, perform 100% manual inspection of parts, change/adjust production tooling, and complete production documentation using JD Edwards.
- Perform daily preventative maintenance, remove and dispose of chips/shavings, and replenish fluids/lubricants.
- Maintain 5S cleaning responsibilities and operate multiple machines simultaneously.
- Ensure compliance with safety rules, quality guidelines, and production efficiency standards.
- 70% – Perform load/unload, machine operation, troubleshooting, and insert changes.
- 15% – Conduct quality measurement checks, including visual inspection of parts.
- 10% – Complete required documentation.
- 5% – Other duties as assigned.
- Abide by and perform all duties in accordance with environmental, health, and safety regulations pertinent to this position.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimal computer skills.
- Proficiency in the use of micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills.
- Ability to read and follow written work instructions.
- Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met.
