Machine Operator

About the role

Milwaukee Electronics, a trusted name in electronics manufacturing for over 70 years, is seeking a Machine Operator to join its dedicated production team. In this hands‑on position you will set up, run, and maintain production equipment used in electronics assembly, ensuring high‑quality products that exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications and set up machines accordingly.
• Operate production equipment with attention to quality and efficiency.
• Use computer programs to access and follow assembly instructions.
• Monitor machines to detect defects or malfunctions and correct or route as needed.
• Perform minor machine maintenance per documented instructions.
• Support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to problem‑solving.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–6 months of manufacturing or related experience preferred.
• Basic data entry and computer skills.
• Ability to read and follow English instructions and safety documentation.
• Basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to interpret performance graphs.

Physical & Work Environment

• Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and use of hands.
• Lift up to 10 lb occasionally.
• Work performed in a clean manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to moving parts, airborne particles, or noise (personal protective equipment provided).

Schedule

This full‑time position follows a Monday‑Wednesday, 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM night‑shift schedule. You will work three consecutive days and then enjoy a four‑day weekend each week, providing a predictable work‑life balance.
