Medbio is hiring multiple Production Machine Operators for our 2nd and 3rd shifts. This is an entry-level position with hands-on training provided.
Pay
Starting at $18.00/hour with shift premium and quarterly bonuses. Hourly range: $18.00–$18.50.
Schedule
Full-time, 40-hour work week on 2nd or 3rd shift with occasional overtime, including possible weekends.
About the role
The Molding Machine Operator I supports daily production activities by operating molding equipment, inspecting and packaging components for internal transfer or customer shipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate assigned production jobs according to work instructions and approved samples
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality requirements
- Package acceptable products for internal transfer or customer shipment
- Communicate with operators on preceding and succeeding shifts regarding production needs or issues
- Learn basic inspection, packaging, and machine operation principles
- Review part information and production documentation for accuracy
- Help organize supplies and purchased goods to keep production running efficiently
- Notify appropriate team members when critical supplies need to be reordered
- Assist Shift Leaders, Set-Up Technicians, Process Technicians, and Engineers as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized manufacturing area
- Follow company safety procedures, policies, and quality standards
- Learn and follow applicable ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods
- Ability to distinguish colors
- Ability to work a standard 40-hour work week with occasional overtime, including possible weekends
- Ability to hear and respond to audible alarms from distances of up to 100 feet
- Ability to pass an auditory screening
