About the role
The Production Machine Operator operates, monitors, and maintains production machinery to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards.
The position is typically performed in a manufacturing or production facility and may involve standing for extended periods, operating machinery, exposure to noise, and handling production materials. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery and equipment according to company procedures.
- Set up, adjust, and monitor machines during production runs.
- Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Load raw materials and components into machines.
- Monitor machine performance and report equipment problems or abnormalities.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and minor machine adjustments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Complete production records, quality checks, and other required documentation.
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.
- Assist with machine changeovers, cleaning, and routine maintenance.
- Meet daily production, quality, and efficiency goals.
- Communicate production issues to supervisors, maintenance staff, and other team members.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures.
- Basic mechanical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift materials as required.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts when needed.

Pay
- First shift: $18 per hour
- Second shift: $18.75 per hour
- Third shift: $19.25 per hour
